Disclaimer
CobraCalc is a free tool to help you plan. It is not advice.
CobraCalc gives estimates only. It is not insurance advice, legal advice, tax advice, or money advice. Using it does not make us your agent or your advisor. The results are examples based on simple 2026 numbers and what you type. They are not quotes, not promises, and not a ruling on what you qualify for.
How right is it?
Real prices, help amounts, and who qualifies depend on your state, your county, the plan year, your exact tax and family setup, and the law — and all of these can change. Plan prices change a lot by where you live. Some rules have special cases this tool does not cover, like the family-glitch rule, Medicaid in some states, and rules tied to immigration status. The poverty lines, the help table, the age factors, and the income cut-off can change each year. We do not promise any number here is right or up to date.
Check before you act.
Before you make any choice about coverage or taxes, check the details with a licensed health insurance agent, your plan office, HealthCare.gov or your state's Marketplace, and a tax pro. Do not use CobraCalc as your only source.
Affiliate note.
CobraCalc may earn money if you click some links (like "Compare plans in your state") and then sign up through a partner. These are affiliate links, marked the standard way. This never changes the math, the result, or the order of the plans you see. The tool only uses the numbers you type. Using a link costs you nothing extra.
Privacy.
CobraCalc runs on your own device. The numbers you type stay in your browser. The tool does not send or save them on any server. If you join the email list, your email is handled by our email provider under its own rules.
No promises.
Health and tax choices have real money effects. You are responsible for your own choices. To the fullest extent the law allows, CobraCalc and its owners are not liable for any loss from using this tool.
